Jenny Chang, chief culture officer, co-founded Trend Micro with her husband, Steve Chang, in 1988. Chang has continued to be actively involved in the company’s growth through her role as chief culture officer. Chang is in charge of promoting and maintaining Trend Micro’s core values and open-minded transnational culture.

In 2008, Chang launched the Trend Micro Global Citizen Programs, a series of projects for Trend Micro employees to be involved with the company’s social responsibility programs. These projects include a matching fund donation program, home building projects in the Philippines, and the Internet Safety for Kids and Family initiative.

In 1988, Chang worked as Trend Micro's first U.S. marketing director. She relocated to Japan in 1993 to help build Trend Micro's corporate headquarters. Chang oversaw the campaigns that made Virus Buster (PC-cillin) Japan's number one antivirus desktop product, capturing more than 70 percent of the desktop antivirus market. Chang also helped establish Trend Micro's leading position in the corporate market, where site. In 1997, Chang relocated to Taiwan and established Trend Micro's global corporate marketing team, with a major focus on building Trend Micro's brand awareness. Chang acted as senior executive vice president, supervising the office of the CEO, until she took on the role as chief culture officer in 2006.

Prior to founding Trend Micro, Jenny Chang worked in marketing at Hewlett-Packard Taiwan, was chief editor of Common Wealth Publishing, and was the marketing director of AsiaTek Computer.

Chang graduated from National Taiwan University in Taiwan and Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, where she majored in Information Science.
