What is the licensing model for Trend Micro Enterprise software products?

Trend enterprise software products are licensed by user. A user is an employee or independent consultant who uses a computer to perform work for the customer.

What is the licensing model for Trend Micro SMB software products?

Trend Micro™ SMB solutions include InterScan VirusWall™ for SMB, Client/Server Suite for SMB, and Client/Server/Messaging Suite for SMB. Trend Micro SMB products are licensed based on the number of computers, including PCs, workstations, and servers to be protected by the Trend Micro software.

How to Order New Licenses

  • First determine the total number of users (or computers for SMB products) that are to be protected by the Trend Micro product purchased.
  • If you are a reseller, please contact a Trend Micro distributor . If you are a customer/enduser, please contact a Trend Micro reseller.
 

Minimum Order

End-user orders/reorders must be for a minimum of 5 users.

Maintenance

Standard maintenance support is included in the initial purchase of product licenses and consists of one year of pattern updates, product updates, and telephone and online technical support. For the second year of maintenance, the cost to the customer is 40% of suggested retail price. Maintenance is due 12 months from the date of original purchase and every year thereafter.
