  • In general, the policy consists of these key points: Trend Micro no longer sells a product two years from its release date. Registration also stops at this time.
  • Bug fixes for a product stops two years from its release date.
  • Trend Micro discontinues product support three years from its release date (or one year from the end-of-life date).
  • Knowledge base (KB) updates stop four years from the product release date (or two years from the end-of-life date).

If you have active subscription, then you can always upgrade for free to the latest version of the product. Also, Trend Micro provides support for another year from the end-of-life date, so you have time to plan your upgrade.

Where can I find out system requirement information for your latest versions?
Trend Micro currently offers 2008 versions of Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware and Trend Micro Internet Security. Trend Micro Internet Security Pro is a 2007 new release. You can find system requirements in the respective product pages.

I use Trend Micro Anti-Spyware. Will there be a new version?
Trend Micro Anti-Spyware is being discontinued, and there will be no new version to the product.
