Security Server

  • Processor:
    • Conventional scan mode: Intel™ Pentium™ 4 or higher
    • Smart Scan mode: Intel Core 2 Duo™ or higher recommended
  • Memory: 512MB (x86 systems), 2GB recommended; 1GB (x64 systems), 2 GB recommended; 4GB (Essential Business Server 2008 or Small Business Server 2008)
  • Disk Space: 1.2GB for full installations, 1.5GB for upgrades, 10GB recommended for daily operation.
  • Note: Upgrades require more space to start, but will free most of this space before completing install.

  • Note: IIS is not supported on Windows XP or Windows Vista. Install Apache HTTP Server on these operating systems. If you have an Apache server already installed, Trend Micro recommends uninstalling it. An Apache server will be installed with the Security Server.

Web Console

  • Web Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or later (32-bit only)
  • PDF Reader: Adobe™ Acrobat™ Reader 4.0 or later
  • Monitor: High-color display with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels or higher

    Note: To integrate with the anti-spam features in Exchange Server 2003 and 2007, the Messaging Security Agent requires the Intelligent Message Filter on these versions of Exchange Server.

NOTE: Client/Server Security Agent supports Citrix Presentation Server 4.0/4.5/5.0 and Remote Desktop.
