The rate of infection or detection table provides a quick summary of a threat's relative rate of infection/detection in different regions across the globe. This provides a useful estimate of how quickly a threat is affecting each region.
An infection/detection rate of 5 percent, for example, means that approximately 5 out of 100 computers are affected. Please note that these rates are based solely on HouseCall users who have scanned their machines in the last 24 hours.
