When a threat is reported, TrendLabs (Trend Micro's global network of antivirus research and product support centers) immediately evaluates the risk of the threat and assigns a risk rating of Low, Medium or High for malware and grayware, or Low, Moderate, Important, Critical or Highly Critical for vulnerabilities. Several factors contribute to each risk rating.
